Boise, Idaho -- When natural scenery meets talented models, absolute beauty pours out. Virginia Treat of Treats Photography is working on a Nature Conservation initiative. She has put together a team and over the course of the next year, will be conducting a series of shoots and produce a photo book, calendars and prints and more. The book will contain photographs combining nature with high fashion. In addition, the book will contain an article related to each image, either highlighting a facility or organization dedicated to nature conservation and in general what Idaho has to offer. The book will be sold online and 100% of the proceeds will benefit a variety of nature conservation facilities.

The team consists of: Amanda Woods with Woods on Fire Innovative Beauty, handling all aspects of hair and makeup; Holly Taylor, Nina Luque, and Unique Irish who are assisting with the costuming of the project; Danielle Solberg and Abby Dee, who work on location, communication and other key items vital to the project. Additional members of the team include Tiffany Larocque, Samantha Chapman, Chante Thornton Hamann, Susan Moore, Michael Strickland, Damon Shaff, Adam Haines and Cheryl Whale Blauer.

The first themed shoot took place January 16, 2016 off Bogus Basin Road. There were three models: Heather Floyd, representing an elk; Charlie Muraski, representing a bear; and Sam Brown, representing a wolf. Amanda Woods and Sam Chapman provided hair and makeup, Holly Taylor, costuming; Tiffany LaRocque, assistant and posing instructor; and Danielle Solberg, assistant.

"The first shoot of this initiative went very well," said Virginia Treat, Photographer with Treats Photography, "The creative team came together to make our ideas a reality. I have a very dedicated team and they all put so much into this project. I am very pleased with the outcome and looking forward to working on the upcoming themes throughout the year. My hope is to bring a creative and unique concept to help with nature conservation."

The second theme took place in Hagerman, Idaho in February. There were three models: Merriah Mae, representing a rainbow trout; Charlotte Dietz, representing a steelhead; and Lacey Knoelk Wirkus, representing a coho salmon. Another upcoming theme, currently in the planning stage, is the Birds of Prey concept. Virginia and her team are working with The Peregrine Fund for the shoot, which is scheduled for March 26th.

"Raptors and art go hand in hand. This form of artistic design using fashion as a medium is a unique concept which we're excited to be a part of, and we're thrilled that the proceeds from book sales will help to conserve raptors." says Erin Katzner, The Peregrine Fund's Director of Community Engagement.

The models are chosen to best represent each theme and done through a casting call on Facebook. Models interested in applying can do so at www.facebook.com/events/ 1666371526980719. There is a crowd-funding account set up to raise funds to complete the project. Contributors can pre-purchase a variety of options based on their level of contribution.
