The third production in Aspire Community Theatre's inaugural season is the classic favorite, The Adventures of Tom Sawyer. In this telling, Tom and the gang will be brought to life in a full scale musical production.

The recent production by Coeur d'Alene's newest community theatre was Catch Me If You Can, a well received telling of a young man finding his way. This newest offering continues to share a young man's coming of age story, but this time, it's Mark Twain's ever popular character, Tom Sawyer. The production vividly captures Twain's beloved character, and includes other favorites, too: Aunt Polly, Huckleberry Finn, sweet Becky Thatcher and more. Nineteenth century Missouri never looked or sounded so good with a Tony award winning script by Ken Ludwig, and musical score with lyrics penned by Grammy winner, Don Schlitz ("The Gambler," "Forever and Ever, Amen," and "When You Say Nothing At All.")

Aspire Community Theatre offers a conservatory approach to theatre education, and provides something tangible to work on for the young and young-at-heart artists in our area. In addition to main stage productions, Aspire Community Theatre will offer Master Classes, smaller scale performance opportunities, and technical experience to the theatre artist wanting to sink their teeth into interesting (and entertaining) productions; theatre produced in the same way professional companies approach their material and with the same expectation of the budding professional.
