That's great! That whole cast worked so wondefully together, especially Celia and Dan. At least now she has a reason for leaving Les Miz (not that she has to, but she's so damn busy that there had to be one) I wish I could get out to LA...
(Phew! It ends on the 17th, so Celia will be in the Sweeney Todd Reunion conert. I hope.)

Um, I have tickets for Fat Pig on the 24th, Jersey Boys on the 25th and am moving to New York on the 26th. I might just sell my Jersey Boys tickets... I mean, I'll have seen that cast like 6 times...
"I never had theatre producers run after me. Some people want to make more Broadway shows out of movies. But Elliot and I aren't going to do Batman: The Musical." - Julie Taymor 1999
Incredible news!!! I thought Jesse or Dan would never go back to the show! lol.
"I'm tellin' you, the only times I really feel the presence of God are when I'm having sex and during a great Broadway musical." - Nathan Lane - Jeffrey
*threadjack* Yes, there is going to be a reunion concert of the '02 Sweeney Todd concert at the Kennedy Center. There's a bit of discussion on the "What's next for Celia Keenan-Bolger thread", but it's basically all of the '02 cast members reprising thier roles five years later. Includes Brain Stokes Mitchell as Sweeney, Christine Barinski (I believe I just butchered that) as Lovett, Hugh Panaro as Anthony, and the wonderful Celia as Johanna.
This is awesome! Think about it. Spelling Bee was the launching pad for many of these actors' careers and even though they have moved on and are in a different place, they are all coming back together because this cast genuinely loves each other.I think for the actors it will be like going to summer camp in LA and the joy of getting to hang out with their really good friends for a month. i think for us, that will translate into Magic on that LA stage. I am soooo there!!!!! Thanks to everyone who made this happen....
