Hello! My name is Michael McGurk, and I am a graduate student pursuing a master’s degree in Psychology from City University of New York, School of Professional Studies. Prior to pursuing a graduate degree, I was a performer within the theatre industry for two decades, performing on Broadway, national tours, and in regional theatres all over the country. As part of my graduate studies, I am conducting a study on personality development and bullying as it occurs within the workplace. Specifically, I am interested in comparing the personality trait of neuroticism, and attitudes/perceptions towards bullying between college students and professionals in the workforce, as well as to compare attitudes/perceptions towards bullying among individuals within and outside of the theatre industry.
