Anyone out or planning to head to Shmackaray's today-or at all this week?

Please post updates as to what the crowds and lines are like.

We were there yesterday around 4pm for Corey Cott and Laura Osnes, there was a line but it wasn't bad at all, maybe took 20-25 minutes :)

Thanks for posting this.  I will be visiting Wednesday-Sunday and knew nothing about it.  I went on the website but saw nothing about specific schedules.  Where would I find this?

Can anyone recommend anything?  I've never been there, but looked at the menu.  I have a feeling, I would not have alot of time to decide.  I don't want to look stupid or get read by a Broadway star for taking too long.

Don't worry about that. Someone asked Lena Hall for recommendations today, and she was totally cool with it. That being said, though, (to answer your question), I would recommend the funfetti. So good!

Funfetti and Maple Bacon are my favorites! I had a blueberry cobbler one last week and it was unfortunately the first time I've ever had a terrible cookie. Also, not sure if they're selling it yet but their lemonade is amazing.

I've not had a bad cookie but my favorites are the Schmackerdoodle, the Oatmeal Scotchie and the Apple Crisp.

If we're not having fun, then why are we doing it? These are DISCUSSION boards, not mutual admiration boards. Discussion only occurs when we are willing to hear what others are thinking, regardless of whether it is alignment to our own thoughts.

I was there around 3:30. No long line. Nobody was mean or judgmental.  Just go and have fun.

Will the stars sign playbills during their shifts?

Don't worry too much about the menu. It changes daily. My fav oatmeal cookie wasn't being offered on Tuesday when I was there but I got a lemon poppy which was delicious and a cocoanut chip which was just ok.

I had to wait about 35 mins but it wasn't bad. I believe they sign playbills etc for an extra donation to Broadway cares.

A friend of mine was in NYC yesterday and I made him give Andrew Keenan Bolger $20 to sign a box of cookies for me.

Forgive me for a potentially silly question (I'm kinda new to Broadway Bakes). I am seeing on Twitter that you can call Schmackary's to donate $30 and talk to a Broadway performer? Is this a thing? And if it is, how exactly does it work? Again, I apologize if this is a dumb question.

I haven't seen anything posted about phone calls, can you link?

As for the rest of it, they have performers scheduled to work in the store from 3-5 and then 5-7. You can go in and simply buy cookies from them, and then, for donations to BC/EFA you can buy signed Playbills, or other autograpahs, or selfies, etc.

It's just something I heard about on Twitter. Someone said something to Christy Altomare about calling her, and she didn't correct them or anything. So I assume that means it at least might be a thing.
