BWW needs to come up with a system to get rid of these trolls who join and post 20 new threads. I don't know if it's the same person or not, but it really clogs up the whole board.
How am I trolling? The play won the Olivier Award for best revival and the play's lead Billie Piper got the Olivier Award for best actress. So how am I trolling??? I would think a great reviewed revival like this has a PLACE on Broadway. It is such a shame we could not have a humane discussion. It would be great to see this 'career defining performance on Broadway .

It's coming back to the West End this summer, so maybe after that? I'd love to see it. And while Billie Piper isn't a household name here (I adore her from her pop music days and "Diaries of a Callgirl" days) I think it would do well here. But I feel like the Young Vic has a history of going Off-Broadway like St. Ann's or The Park Ave Amory.
Didn't want to create a new thread so I'm gonna ask here: what about Ivo van Hove's Hedda Gabler? It looked amazing on some pictures I saw and to be honest I had this weird dream where Claire Danes was bound to stat the production in NY opposite her husband Hugh Dancy, lol. Anyway, has there been any talks?
