Sorry to do this to you guys. I rarely post anything on these boards but I check them everyday. I always see these help me pick my show threads and you all probabaly tired of them. I'm going to NYC for 8 days in a couple of weeks. I have 10 show slots and have bought 9 shows. I have my last slot to pick. I'm really torn on what the last slot should go to. So far I have tickets for:
Sunset Boulevard
Miss Saigon
War Paint
Cats
Charlie and the Chocolate Factory
Dear Evan Hansen
Groundhog Day
Sunday in the Park with George
Hello Dolly!
The last slot is between these options:
Bronx Tale
Amelie
Anastasia
Bandstand
Come From Away
What do you guys think? All opinions are welcome. Thank you in advance.
Of the 5 shows on your list, I've only seen COME FROM AWAY, and I loved it. Also, it will probably get the most Tony attention, so I think it would be a good choice.
You made an excellent choice in my view. I haven't seen Bronx Tale or (obviously) Bandstand but I easily would pick Come From Away over Anastasia (which I saw on Broadway and also thoroughly enjoyed) or Amelie (which I saw in Berkeley and really did not like at all).
