The partial view seats in the Amphitheatre are terrible. TERRIBLE. The ones in the balcony aren't as bad, but if you're behind a pole a large chunk of the stage can be blocked and you'll have to dodge from side to side all night.
You can do rush. It's $30 sold two hours before the show at the box office. This week I think K and I is offering rush for most performances this week except the both sat shows and sun mat.
The Kimmel center updates their site weekly letting you know which things are offering rush that week.
Ive sat in Parquet (that's the first level) circle section F row V seats 15 and 13. They are partial view but not horrible at all. The one seat is an aisle seat. I think they're being sold for $50 but if you use code FUNSAVERS those seats drop down to $25 for a good amount of performances during the second week of the run ( I've looked these seats up recently for family members )
I'd avoid the Amphitheater level period, the seats are steep, dark, and uncomfortable.
The partial views can differ. I found a spot I liked for the last Les Mis tour on the Parquet Circle level that was perfectly fine even with a pole next to me, and had all but a small portion of downstage stage left visible for Curious Incident on the Balcony level. Heed note of the limited room seats, though, it's one thing to have to shift slightly around a pole, another to have it occupying your leg room.
As others have said, avoid the "limited comfort" (no comfort is more accurate) and obstructed column seats at all costs. The regular obstructed view seats are definitely obstructed, but you still have a view of the stage. That said, unless you're shooting for a weekend performance, I would recommend trying rush or using the FUNSAVERS code. I have also seen performances for this engagement on Goldstar. I don't think it is selling as well as they thought it would, so you shouldn't have trouble getting some form of discounted seat, especially for a weeknight.
"You travel alone because other people are only there to remind you how much that hook hurts that we all bit down on. Wait for that one day we can bite free and get back out there in space where we belong, sail back over water, over skies, into space, the hook finally out of our mouths and we wander back out there in space spawning to other planets never to return hurrah to earth and we'll look back and can't even see these lives here anymore. Only the taste of blood to remind us we ever existed. The earth is small. We're gone. We're dead. We're safe."

The audience is seated almost in a semi-circle. The seats that are in the two sections closest to the edge of the semi-circle are severely obstructed. I sat in one once, and I couldn't see at least 30% of the stage. Partial view seats elsewhere in the space may not be as bad, but those two outer sections are really bad.
"What was the name of that cheese that I like?"
"you can't run away forever...but there's nothing wrong with getting a good head start"
"well I hope and I pray, that maybe someday, you'll walk in the room with my heart"
Sat in a "limited comfort" seat today in the family circle. It was next to the column and had full view of the stage. The leg room was fantastic, better than many Broadway theaters. The seat directly behind the column is a different story.
I haven't seen any discount codes, but they're offering rush for tomorrow night and Sunday night.
