Avenue Q For Now Lyric Change?

I know after Obama was elected, Avenue Q had a contest to change the lyrics of For Now from George Bush to some other culture wide topic of depression. In the end they chose none if them and simply changed the lyric from "George Bush Is" changing it to "George Bush WAS only for Now".

Does anyone think they are finally going to change the lyric from George Bush to Donald Trump at tomorrow's performance? For a show that can litterally be summed in it own lyrics "except for death and paying taxes everything in life is only for Now" it would make sense that they would like to remind their likely depressed liberal audience of this.

It's been Donald Trump for a while

its also been Fox News and Justin Bieber in the past

Yeah, It's been "Donald Trump" since at least mid-summer.

I was there recently and the audience went nuts over it. I suspect it will stay in for a long while.

Clearly not the same as NYC, but I am playing Lucy/Mrs. Thistletwat/Moving Box in a local production that is opening this Friday. The plan was always to say "Donald Trump" on our opening night since it falls on Inauguration Day and use a local politician's name the rest of the run, but in the end we decided to stick with Trump. It always gets a chuckle any time anyone not familiar with the song sits in on a rehearsal.

True... if you mean 2015, since they said Trump when I saw it in August of that year.

Yeah, they started using his name shortly after he announced that he was running. He announced in June of 2015.
