I've seen a few posts on this topic but most are dated. Has anyone had success with rush tickets lately? And do you think they will be available for closing weekend?

Can't speak for closing weekend, but we went this past Wednesday, got there at 9:00, and just missed out. So to be safe, I'd get there by 8:30 or earlier.

Are you selling them for the rush price? ($39 each). We were planning to do the rush today but would be interested in buying if selling for same price.

Rush tickets are $59 now

If you aren't in line already I don't think you will get any. There are already 30 people in line.

I rushed on Thursday 1/12 and was taken by surprise that the rush price is now $59, increased from $37. Seat locations were balcony obstructed view (1st row). The line grew quickly after 8am, not sure how many rush tickets were sold. On telecharge, there were only a few scattered singles available for $159-169 for the rest of the run.

I know it varies per show but what number were you in line? How badly obstructed was the view? I think I have an ok shot this morning since there are 2 shows.

The first 8 tickets sold were all front row, balcony, side section. 25% of my view was blocked by the spotlights hung in front of the balcony, but if you sit up really tall maybe you can minimize the obstruction, or peek between the lights.  It's not exactly a show with a lot of visual action to miss.

Thanks for the info, I got the balcony front row obstructed view seats as well,  the lady at the box office told me to just sit up straight and its fine.

I got there around 7am and was maybe 10th in line. I'm not sure how many tickets people in front of me were getting or for which show but I wanted the 2pm show and got it no problem. If you're going to try this next weekend I wouldn't get there much later then 7am cause once 8am rolled around the line was pretty long.
