They had windowcards, buttons, t-shirts, rubber bracelets, sharpies, a hoodie (they're the thinner type, reminiscent of the one I have from Once), magnet, scarf, water bottle, tote bag, mug, and hat on the first night.
Window card prices have been odd lately. When I was in the city over the summer, The Humans cost $10, She Loves Me was $15, Shuffle Along was $25, and The Color Purple was $25. So it seems prices are on flux lately. I always just assumed they were $20.

There was? I was there on Wednesday and I didn't see the merchandise booth in its usual place by the main entrance. Judging by the fact I didn't see anyone leaving with merchandise, nobody else did either. That sucks, I always get a magnet.

Can't speak to lobby / orchestra level but there was definitely a merchandise booth upstairs, I believe on the house left side. Picked up a magnet and a rubber bracelet. This was on Monday though.

Yes, in addition to a bigger one on the lower level. I assume there will be a merch stand put in place in the Orchestra once the show opens, as it looked like theater management was utilizing this space for audience concerns and questions.
It was well hidden unless you had occasion to go downstairs. I was a little surprised they didn't have someone walking the line as some shows do, but maybe that'll change.
What is my best option if I want to buy some merch but I'm not seeing the show? Is this something I'd be able to inquire at close to/around performance time at the box office? Has there been any merch stands put in place in the box office or the orchestra level since opening? Please help!!! ETA: I know this might be a silly question with a simple answer, but I am seriously inquiring and have never done something like this when buying merch. But I would like something as a Christmas gift and I am not seeing the show again before that, but will be in the area to pick it up
I was at the show Weds and the only merch booth I saw was lower level. The windowcard includes the blue Dear Evan Hansen sharpie. I wanted to buy a Sharpie but was told they were not for sale solo.
If you wanted to buy merch without seeing the show I think you'd have to come in as the show was letting out

"I want to meet him after and bang him!"-random woman who exposed her breasts at Rock of Ages, referring to James Carpinello
There is a smaller merch stand upstairs (two flights up) in the hallway past mezzanine door 1. I was surprised to get the sharpie with my windowcard last week, at the first preview they were loose in the same basket as the bracelets so I thought they'd be for sale.

Depending upon what you want, the shop next to the St. James has Dear Evan Hansen merch - their prices typically have a minimal markup, but it can be worth it for the convienence of not having to wait until the end of a performance to run in.

I guess depending on the show, the material it's printed on, and the demand for them, the prices vary.
The standard is usually $20 (and I'm surprised because I paid that at THE COLOR PURPLE back in January. Maybe their awards drove up demand). In the case of SHUFFLE ALONG, so few of the windowcards were actually made, and they weren't released until toward the end of the run in the face of demand, so they drove up the price there (was my understanding).
The non-profits and shows near closing tend to be cheaper. MTC posters, since they are usually printed on paper and not cardstock, are $10, and Roundabout's are usually $15.
I saw "A Time To Kill" with Sebastian Arcelus, Tonya Pinkins, and Fred Dalton Thompson (RIP) about three years ago. Their poster was an inexplicably cheap $5.

I don't know what specifically you're looking for, but if going to the theater doesn't work out and you're willing to pay/wait for shipping, the online Playbill store has some of it available: https://www.playbillstore.com/shop-by-show/dear-evan-hansen.aspx
Timing for reference --- I ordered the opening night Playbill (which happened to ship free; I'm not sure if I'd have paid for shipping costs) on the 5th, it shipped on the 6th and arrived on the 8th.
