It was definitely the best production of this show I have ever seen, but I'm afraid it's been out on the road for too long. There's no buzz or excitement left whatsoever. Kerstin Anderson is a gem, but she doesn't have the star power to carry the weight of this show on Broadway.

I saw it months ago and was not impressed for the most part. I thought it looked cheap. There were some good performances, but my best memories of the show are of the London Palladium production from a number of years back, which was spectacular. This, not so much.
I did not care for it at all. The last professional TSOM I saw on stage was the Broadway revival and its subsequent tour, which I thought was much better than this production.
FYI, Kerstin Anderson is out for the entire week of performances in San Diego. I haven't heard anything about an illness and she's still listed in the playbill but her understudies are printed on the cast page for the nights they are going on so I assume Kerstin is on a scheduled vacation.
