When is the Hamilton that was taped a few months back being broadcast? I actually have it on my calendar for today (I must have marked it way back when they announced it), but I figure there would be more hype if that was the case.
In our millions, in our billions, we are most powerful when we stand together. TW4C unwaveringly joins the worldwide masses, for we know our liberation is inseparably bound.

Wow...sorry. Didn't realise a simple question (and I guess misunderstanding) would get such sarcastic remarks. I remember a few months back them talking about a taping. Obviously I misunderstood. I did mark PBS so that must have been what it was referring to.
mmFan, back in late June the entirety of Hamilton WAS recorded to eventually be released to the public. What these sarcastic posters are trying to say though is that it likely won't be released for a certain # of years now. Alas, there is a documentary that will be on PBS Friday entitled "Hamilton's America". 8 or 9pm I believe. Enjoy that for now at least!

Thanks for explaining. So I wasn't totally off. Will look for the documentary on PBS.
PS - I never saw Hamilton (but have seen clips and did see In the Heights with LMM, which seems to similar rap style) so am curious with all the hype.
I've had the documentary marked on my calendar for some time....quite excited for it!
As for the sarcasm, it was never stated that the show would be aired on any specific date. Only that it might be....some day. It was common knowledge that parts of it would be used for the documentary airing Friday.
If we're not having fun, then why are we doing it?
These are DISCUSSION boards, not mutual admiration boards. Discussion only occurs when we are willing to hear what others are thinking, regardless of whether it is alignment to our own thoughts.

Yes, what you marked down on your calendar was indeed supposed to be for today. The PBS documentary that was mentioned with other things Hamilton. It was announced to be Oct 17.
I had this noted for today as well until my sister told me back in August that she couldn't wait to see the Hamildoc on October 21 and I told her no it was the 17th. MY BAD! They changed the date to a Friday night.
Plus, the documentary is just that - a documentary about the creation of HAMILTON. As with all documentaries, you'll see these performance clips interspersed but don't expect full performance footage of an entire number. The B-Roll for the Broadway production has more full and complete clips than this documentary does.
Can't wait for the threads of disappointed idiots upset longer clips weren't used as if the documentary was supposed to be footage of the cast performing the show. It's not.
