New EP FAVOURITE SINS

I thought that maybe people on the Board who are interested in new writing may wish to check out “Favourite Sins” -  a 4 track EP of songs with music by actor/singer/songwriter Alex James Ellison and lyrics by myself and Jimmy Granstrom . It  was released digitally on iTunes on October 2 and  limited edition physical hard copy CDs are also available to order via the “Favourite Sins” website. http://bob8rich.wixsite.com/favouritesins

Vocals on the EP are provided by Kane Oliver Parry (Wicked, Urinetown, The Light Princess), Cameron Sharp (School Of Rock, Jesus Christ Superstar, Rock Of Ages), Jodie Steele (Wicked, Fame, Bare), Emily Tierney (Ghost, Wicked, The Wizard Of Oz) and Alex James Ellison.

Alex James Ellison  trained at the BRIT  School and Mountview Academy Of Performing Arts. He has played roles in a number of Off-West End musicals - including “Apartment 40C” (St James Studio and London Theatre Workshop) , “Whistle Down The Wind” (Union Theatre) and “Best Of Friends” (Landor Theatre) - and starred in "Aliens Love Underpants" on tour and at the Dominion Theatre. He recently supported Samantha Barks on her UK concert tour. In 2014 he released his debut EP, “Duvet Days” and 2015 saw the release of his single, “Chocolate Bar”.

Alex and I have written a number of songs together during the last 18 months or so and are currently in the early stages of writing and developing a new musical with the working title, “Texting And Tweeting – the Musical”.
