This season's going to be tough as far as musicals go. Last year, it was pretty open and shut, Hamilton was going to sweep. This year, there's so many shows that seem really good. Great Comet, Dear Evan Hansen, In Transit, Come From Away, The Spongebob Musical, Anastasia, The Falsettos Revival, Tim Minchin's Groundhog Day Musical. I don't know what or who to root for yet.
Ok, so it looks like it's my turn this year. What belongs to Tony? (You have given the Tony Awards an apostrophe that does not belong...in fact, nothing belongs to Tony!) Tonys, however, do belong to many deserving (and sometimes undeserving) stars, and creatives, who make up this world of show. Drop the apostrophe now, or you will have hell to pay...watch my word! It's coming!! :)
2. Root for? The show you saw that YOU think is the best.
3. Maybe we should see what's till open at Tony time, that is often helpful.
If we're not having fun, then why are we doing it?
These are DISCUSSION boards, not mutual admiration boards. Discussion only occurs when we are willing to hear what others are thinking, regardless of whether it is alignment to our own thoughts.

also helpful (4.) to wait to see what else comes in and spend the intervening time studying the correct use of apostrophes, or some other worthy subject.
Since I only attend shows and am not in one nor produce any, it is (once again) a pretty easy year for me. I get to see a lot of things and enjoy myself. One show I enjoy (or not) will win an award and it may (or may not) be my favorite from the season... pretty low stress, really. Nothing tough about it, at all.
