I might be planning a trip in November to see Sweet Charity and perhaps Kristen Chenoweth. I also would like to see DEH. I have seen many shows that have been around for a bit. I also saw a few while visiting this past spring. Hamilton won't be on my list.
My last visit I saw Waitress, Color Purple, and a couple that have probably closed.
If we're not having fun, then why are we doing it?
These are DISCUSSION boards, not mutual admiration boards. Discussion only occurs when we are willing to hear what others are thinking, regardless of whether it is alignment to our own thoughts.
SWEAT at The Public is another big one along with A LIFE at Playwrights Horizons Also looking forward to the new Nicky Silver play over at The Vineyard
my November list includes all those shows plus SWEET CHARITY, GREAT COMET and THE CHERRY ORCHARD (saving FRONT PAGE for December)
November the first show that I am seeing is Les Liaisons Dangereuses. Saw the original production in London and New York and now looking forward to seeing Janet McTeer and Live Schreiber in the revival.
"I hope your Fanny is bigger than my Peter."
Mary Martin to Ezio Pinza opening night of Fanny.
I will be adding The Front Page to my list. I haven't been keeping up with the boards. I'm very excited that Nathan Lane is in something else. I loved him last time I saw him in It's Only a Play!
I agree. It is a revival of an old show with a familiar plot but the cast is top notch and you just might learn something about how things used to be in the old days of media.
Great Comet is the only show I've got a ticket for and I can't wait. I saw Evan Hansen off-Broadway and didn't care for it, but it does have a great cast.
I am a firm believer in serendipity- all the random pieces coming together in one wonderful moment, when suddenly you see what their purpose was all along.
^Oh, man, I didn't even know this was happening. How incredibly exciting. The film it's based on is just about perfect -- and perfect for a musical treatment.

Thanks for this news! I didn't know this was happening. Hopefully I can get the $126 flight special from Buffalo during the 7th.
