Slightly unrelated, but Act Of God is always on TDF and is only $3 more than rush ($45, fee included vs $42). I recently did TDF and was in orchestra row J, dead center. I noticed that there were a lot of empty orchestra seats, so I imagine that those would probably go to rush.
I and some of my friends have rushed a few different times, and it seems that the seats are basically just where ever they need us. We have been second row on the aisle, about halfway back on the right side, and even all the way in the back corner of the orchestra. It seems the only place that they don't have rush seats is in the center orchestra. One good thing about the Booth, and about this show in particular is that there really isn't a bad seat in the house.
Thanks, asmith. It's interesting to know that their rush is mostly whatever was not sold, and not just partial view. Thanks for the tip about the booth theatre as well since I have yet to have attended a show there.
I rushed a month ago and we got second row on side..perfect view. And same seats as given for hand to god rush. Much better than having to stand in line at the txts booth.
