It is now 12 days until the 1st preview and I thought it would be a good idea to make a thread about it. I'm not sure if anyone on the board has tickets for preview performances, but I hope some people do. Anyway, I'm quite impressed that the cast and creative team have been able to keep much about the plot secret.

I'm looking for a single ticket to Parts 1 and 2 on Wednesday June 29 or for the June 30 and July 1 performances.  Please PM me if you have an extra ticket you need to get rid of for those dates and I can only afford the actual price of the ticket.

Edit: I think the schedule is different this week according to stubhub so it might be the Tuesday June 28 and Wednesday June 29 set, or Thursday June 30 both parts.  I really want to see this and Rebel Wilson in Guys and Dolls this week!

Am I the only one that finds the obsession of starting "preview threads" weeks in advance a little strange? haha.

"You can't overrate Bernadette Peters. She is such a genius. There's a moment in "Too Many Mornings" and Bernadette doing 'I wore green the last time' - It's a voice that is just already given up - it is so sorrowful. Tragic. You can see from that moment the show is going to be headed into such dark territory and it hinges on this tiny throwaway moment of the voice." - Ben Brantley (2022) "Bernadette's whole, stunning performance [as Rose in Gypsy] galvanized the actors capable of letting loose with her. Bernadette's Rose did take its rightful place, but too late, and unseen by too many who should have seen it" Arthur Laurents (2009) "Sondheim's own favorite star performances? [Bernadette] Peters in ''Sunday in the Park,'' Lansbury in ''Sweeney Todd'' and ''obviously, Ethel was thrilling in 'Gypsy.'' Nytimes, 2000

Not at all , a day or two before. But come on 12 days!

Well I didn't want to get into it, but he's a Satanist. Every full moon he sacrifices 4 puppies to the Dark Lord and smears their blood on his paino. This should help you understand the score for Wicked a little bit more. Tazber's: Reply to Is Stephen Schwartz a Practicing Christian

Wrong board. It's not on Broadway.

I think it is mostly an obsession with being the first to start a thread.

When I saw this thread pop up, I was excited to start reading what people think, the kinda disappointed to discover that it is still nearly two weeks away.

this is what I wanted to post as the first comment when I saw this thread, but held off because I didn't want to appear snarky.
