Gave it 20 minutes. It was totally incomprehensible . Cut our losses and bailed.

Felt so ripped off with the final two episodes of the first one, not even going to bother!

Streamed the first episode of the new season last night. Neither my husband nor I were all that thrilled with it.  Leaning strongly toward not bothering with any more of it.  I know Jason Patric has his fans; I'll admit that I have never had strong feelings about him one way or the other.  But for this show, and judging by this episode, I liked Matt Dillon's work last season a lot better. Patric seemed bored, and I don't think that was necessarily a character choice. (Just saying that how he seemed to me. I could be way off base here.)

But yeah, unless the hubby cares enough to go on to the next episode(s), I think we may be done with Wayward Pines.  I was ready to start rooting for the Abbies. Would rather them be ruling the world in 4032 than those damned First Gen Kids.

I'm yawning just typing about this...

Before we bolted, we really wanted the Abbies to scale the fence and bash the heads in of all the inhabitants of the Pines.

Matt Dillon's character drove the show last year in a Harrison Ford sort of way. Without him it all seems rather tepid.
