Isn't Mormon heading there after Melbourne?

Are you looking for stuff that's not listed here? http://aussietheatre.com.au/events/

We Will Rock You just opened

Xanadu is on at the Hayes Theatre

Heathers is at the Opera House soon (although you may have seen it at the Hayes Theatre)

You're a Good Man Charlie Brown is at the Hayes in July

Singin' in the Rain also opens in July

Dream Lover - The Bobby Darin Musical starring David Campbell opens in October

Beautiful opens next September

I'd also expect Kinky Boots will do a run in Sydney

Finding Neverland end of 2017 in Melbourne, Sydney to follow

Well I didn't want to get into it, but he's a Satanist. Every full moon he sacrifices 4 puppies to the Dark Lord and smears their blood on his paino. This should help you understand the score for Wicked a little bit more. Tazber's: Reply to Is Stephen Schwartz a Practicing Christian

Who's making you see it?

Anyway, Australians, is AussieTheatre the best site for looking for calendar items like this? I think I'm going to be in Melbourne early next year.

That and Theatre People, although the latter covers a lot of community theatre too. You could also check the websites of the main theatres - Her Majesty's Theatre and the Marriner Group (the Regent, Princess and Comedy Theatres) are the 4 East End theatres which will have most of the big productions (but odds are you will have seen them all!), then you've also got the Arts Centre, then slightly out of the CBD the Alex and National Theatres in St Kilda and Chapel Off Chapel in South Yarra. I love Chapel in particular as it hosts some really different shows, including new Australian works, plus is just a cool little venue.

What I've noticed about theatre people is that they have the same intro music as broadwaycom for a lot of their YouTube videos and they also have a similar logo. Are they related in anyway?

I personally consider aussietheatre my 'bible'.

"You can't overrate Bernadette Peters. She is such a genius. There's a moment in "Too Many Mornings" and Bernadette doing 'I wore green the last time' - It's a voice that is just already given up - it is so sorrowful. Tragic. You can see from that moment the show is going to be headed into such dark territory and it hinges on this tiny throwaway moment of the voice." - Ben Brantley (2022) "Bernadette's whole, stunning performance [as Rose in Gypsy] galvanized the actors capable of letting loose with her. Bernadette's Rose did take its rightful place, but too late, and unseen by too many who should have seen it" Arthur Laurents (2009) "Sondheim's own favorite star performances? [Bernadette] Peters in ''Sunday in the Park,'' Lansbury in ''Sweeney Todd'' and ''obviously, Ethel was thrilling in 'Gypsy.'' Nytimes, 2000

Plus Jonathan Church quit Sydney Theatre Company today , before his first season was announced....No scandal both parties decided his work load was too heavy to continue
