Schmackary's is a fun bakery that many of the actors on broadway go to themselves, I've never been so I'm not sure where it's located exactly but if the actors hang out there it can't be far.
I was also just going to mention not going to Schmackery's to hang out. To buy cookies, yes, but it's only a small shop and if you want to hang out, you're standing around on the sidewalk.

I was laughing so hard at this because usually this would be my first thought. However a couple weeks ago I was in line at TKTS waiting for Color Purple tickets and the woman in front of me started talking to me, and I'm so glad she did. We had a great conversation that lasted about 30 minutes and the line just flew by!
If the weather finally gets nice, it's really not far from Central Park. So if you wanted to go to the bakery, you could always walk up to the park and have a picnic. I do that in the summer pretty often. I usually stay at air bnbs downtown, so if I have a 2-show day I'll grab some food and go sit in the park and people watch between shows. :)
of course it hasn't been nice enough to do that lately...

Sometimes you can find better entertainment in Central Park than on Broadway....
I like the 8th floor of the Marriott Marquis. You can sit, have something to eat, get wifi, souvenir shop, bathrooms, tv at the bar area. You can also go,down a few floors and see many Broadway window cards displayed on the wall. Also, ride the elevator up to the top floor for a nice view of Times Square. Have spent many pre theatre hours here and it's still one of my favorites and quiet places in the city to hang out.
The only review of a show that matters is your own.
