I'm so curious. Who do we think are the Broadway stars of tomorrow? Jon Viktor Corpuz from the King and I, Alexandra Socha from Fun Home, or how about The The kid from Hamilton?

It's hard to predict the future of child actors since the outcome of puberty, their future dedication to a broadway career and how lucky they get is  unknown.

Heck I could say Honey boo boo and it may come true.

But Sidney Lucas has a good shot being a Tony nominee at her age.

Trevor McCarthy, born today in Cherry Hill, New Jersey, will discover at the age 13 that he loves musical theatre when his junior high puts on a production of Trumpspell. His parents will want him to follow their footsteps and work at Trump Mexican-Free Manufacturing, but he will instead set out on his own at the age of 16 to go study acting at Trump Presents: Juilliard School for the Arts and Golf Course, a Trump Venture.

He will make his Broadway debut at the age of 24 at Trump Times Square Hotel & Casino in a revival of Guys and Dolls.

I think Ramos would be pleased that his portrayal of a nine-year-old was so convincing!

Socha is also an adult....and left Fun Home when it was still at the Public.

A number of the kids on b'way won't pursue a continued career...and many that are "great" now (and some certainly are) won't have their talent grow up with them.  Just what happens.

Just this weekend I was thinking about how many children there are on Bway right now.

School of Rock, Matilda, & The King & I and to a lesser extent Fun Home and Finding Neverland.

There is so much young talent out there.

I also re-watched Billy Elliot recently and was amazed all over again by Elliot Hannah. I know that's a West End video, but I thought I'd include him.

....but the world goes 'round

Isn't ine of the original Broadway Billy's going to replace Derek hough on dancing with the stars. Tom holland a former west end billy is the next Spider-Man. Oona Laurence an original Broadway Matilda has been in quite a few movies. So has Sydney Lucas where she played a younger version of Kristen Wiig both times.

I'd she has a VERY good shot at already being a Tony nominee...

I'll throw Ripley Sobo's name out there. Saw her as the little daughter in "Once" then she got great reviews when she joined "Matilda". She's been doing some big movies lately (most recently Batman vs. Superman).

I think the poster meant: since she is ALREADY a Tony nominee, she has a good chance at being a future star.
