Bob is great, I love him, but he needs to step it up to compete with the other girls. His wigs and makeup are pretty basic. But I'm still rooting for him.
I share the Bob love. I'm much more interested in this year's group than in last year's -- what a tedious bunch that was. Looking forward to the rest of the season.

Also, I was really not impressed by a single look on the runway last night... I don't know if it was the stale-ness of the past challenges or what, but I was not into a single queen's choices...

Was anyone else bothered by all those flashing lights during the runway section? It made it really hard to see the outfits, the image got even blurrier than it already is.

It's funny you mention this because I've been rewatching all the seasons (finally getting to see 1-3 again) and the runways are always filmed so poorly that it's nearly impossible to see the outfits. At first I thought it was a streaming thing, then I thought it was a season 1 thing but it's definitely an always thing. How they haven't corrected this in 8 seasons is beyond me.

Clyde, I just finished the first Untucked and while it still follows the same format as last year, overall it's a lot more fun. I just wish they'd stop trying to make it "serious". But after what we got last season, I can't complain about anything, seeing how great the first episode was.
Season 7 already feels like a distant memory. I'm loving these queens. Even though I don't like the YouTube morning-after thing, Untucked was still fun. Can't wait to see what unfolds!

I'm remembering having an issue with it in previous years, too. I didn't remember it being an issue last season because I bailed on last season pretty quick. I found a comment where I refer to Season Six as looking like a blurry VHS dupe.

Bob the Drag Queen is an obvious early favorite, and Kim Chi is stunning and adorable out of drag. Thorgy Thor also seems like a lot of fun, even though I wasn't in love with what we saw of her look. Cynthia Lee Fontaine also made me laugh, she seems like an adorable oddball.
Not at all surprised with who went home, though I didn't think Laila McQueen showed a lot of fire in her performance either. But a few underwhelming queens aside, it seems like a very fun and talented group, so this season should be a blast!
I am a firm believer in serendipity- all the random pieces coming together in one wonderful moment, when suddenly you see what their purpose was all along.
The person who went home got called out on Michelle's Whatcha Packing? after show on the Logo site for not knowing the words to Applause. That's why she went home. Default elimination.
Really? She was gorgeous, no doubt, but I thought she was personality free- pretty does not an interesting contestant make, at least for me. Even during Applause she smiled through the whole thing like she just won another pageant.
And besides, I hate when Ru brings eliminated queens back. They rarely last beyond that episode anyway, and even when they do it's never a particularly strong showing.
