I'm headed to New York in the Spring (last week of March/Beginning of April) and I would really love to see a show on that Monday of the 28th, but of course very few theatre companies put on productions on Mondays. I'm already seeing The Crucible, Antlia Pneumatica, The Humans, and She Loves Me and I would love to see a fourth show. So far, the only productions that seem to play on that Monday are Straight (at the Acorn Theatre) and Blackbird. Anybody know anywhere else? Thanks so much!
Also, Bruce Springsteen happens to be at Madison Square Garden that night, and every music fan should see him at least once, as yesterday's NYT review will attest. Probably sold out though.
Beyoncé is not an ally. Actions speak louder than words, Mrs. Carter. #Dubai #$$$
All shows at New World Stages, except the Bubble Show, are up on Mondays. The Woodsman just started previews. I hear from its run at 59e59 that it is good. I am seeing it in 2 weeks and can't wait.
Any time someone asks about Monday shows, I always pipe in with another plug to SLEEP NO MORE. Has anyone been recently? Is it still the life-changing experience it was for so many of us back when it was new?
I saw Sleep No More in 2015 and loved it. Anyway, I actually quite like Bruce Springsteen Namo, so... Anyways, I think I'll be seeing Wolf in the River by Adam Rapp at the Flea Theatre. I love Adam Rapp, and this play seems all kinds of crazy, so I'm very excited for it. Thanks for the help anyways, guys!
