The death of an unarmed 17 year-old boy being a helpful citizen

"Impossible is just a big word thrown around by small men who find it easier to live in the world they've been given than to explore the power they have to change it. Impossible is not a fact. It's an opinion. Impossible is not a declaration. It's a dare. Impossible is potential. Impossible is temporary. Impossible is nothing.” ~ Muhammad Ali

Don't worry, everyone. Ray Tensing's bills are taken care of.

Tensing’s father, Paul, a retired firefighter, paid the $100,000 surety payment

Pretty damn good pension.

Pretty pretty please don't you ever ever feel like you're less than f**ckin' perfect!

I guess the father could have gotten a loan for the $100,000? The cops in both of these cases were wrong. Out of control is right. I guess I shouldn't be surprised about Tensing receiving support.

Real criminals are running around free while cops are killing innocent people. Sure is how it seems to be. It's got to change. Do these cops wake up on a given morning and decide they're going to shoot somebody that day, come hell or high water?

I sure don't blame the victims, so don't misunderstand, but I do at least partly blame all the damned YouTube etc videos about rights when pulled over. If a cop pulls me over (as has happened a few times in my life), then I am for s#!t sure going to show him/her my driver's license, registration, proof of insurance when asked to do so.  Even the ACLU says you should do this. I think I'd trust their advice over those YouTube videos. Shouldn't offer to show it if not asked, but if asked, show it. Why are so many videos telling people to refuse to show their ID to a cop during a traffic stop? I'd rather show my ID than possibly wind up dead.  And fine, I'm old and female and white, but even for me, being pulled over can be "scary." You never know what mood an individual police officer is going to be in. I've been stopped by really nice ones and by a$$holey ones.

More of Tensing's work

And "these damn Youtube videos" are exposing what Black folks have known for decades.

Police executions. They aren't just for Black folks anymore!
