Hey,all!

Wondering if someone could help shed some light: Is the stage for FISH IN THE DARK high over at the Cort? I'm trying my damndest to secure a seat in the orchestra as a gift, but I want to make sure it's a good view! Any insight appreciated!

Thanks so much! Cort Theatre Seating ?

I find the Cort to be a very intimate theatre. I can't speak for the view from the orchestra (I've only ever sat in the balcony), but no seat appears to be a bad seat in this house, especially for this show.

"Mostly, I loved the size of these people's emotions. Nobody has emotions this size anymore. Outsized emotions. Operatic emotions. Kushemski and Vanda are like Tristan and Isolde, they're Paolo and Francesca. Nobody's in total thrall like this anymore. Nobody's overcome by passion like this, or goes through this kind of rage." For Fish In The Dark I sat in the third row of the center orchestra. That was definitely a great seat. The stage is moderately high ... if a 10 is a very high stage and a 1 is a very low stage, it is about a 5 or 6.

If your guest is shorter I would avoid the front row, but if this person is taller, the front row should be fine. Anything further than the front row would be a good view based on the stage height of this show.

Are you trying to get tickets for the show with Larry David or Jason Alexander? Because while they release seats generally for Larry's shows they're not usually in the front row from what I have seen. I have seen on Telecharge many different areas though. In April, I was impatient to find a $159 seat so I bit the bullet and got $185 tickets for Row P which are good but certainly not worth that much money. I'm not sure if Jason Alexander's run is sold out so can't help yout there.
