I live in Nashviile where Studio Tenn resides, and I have to say, they put on great theater! It is run by a guy that was in the OBC of Jersey Boys. He brings in a lot of broadway talent. Jessica Grové as Maria in The Sound of Music, Rachel Potter and Chuck Wagner in Les Miserables, and Ali Mauzey in Cinderella. I have no doubt that this will be a great show!
"^ Are they normally concert stagings? And do the trailers always have a Wes Craven feel? Cause THAT'S the Sound of Music I wanna see!"
No it will not be a concert staging. They did the same thing last year with Les Miserables and it was a full scale show. I know for a fact that this will be the same.
First couple of minutes were kinda like watching the Man of Steel teaser.

My mistake then! I just misunderstood the article I read on Playbill about it... probably read too fast... but when I glanced through that and then saw on the website that it had a full symphony orchestra, I didn't think it was a "full scale show."
