I am planning on purchasing LINCTIX for The King and I, and I was wondring if anyone would be willing to share their thoughts on the Beaumont's extreme side orchestra seats for this production.  I'm sure these seats have a certain amount of obstruction since they're so far to the side.  Is one side more obstructed than the other?  If you had to choose, would you rather sit in the 100s or the 500s?

Your advice is greatly appreciated!

I saw the show via LincTix. Don't have my ticket with me now but I was seated on the second level towards stage left. Great seats. Definitely do higher up if you're on the extremes sides.

I saw in the front row extreme left and I was pretty happy with my seats. At the beginning, you miss the first few minutes because they are on a boat that towers above you but when they come down, they were perfect. It was great being so close to the cast, IMO.

To avoid missing the action on the boat, Section 500 is better.

I sat in J107, and I thought it was a great seat. There are some moments that people's backs are to that side, but it offers a great view of the boat and all of the action. I'd sit there again for sure.

Is either side closer to Kelli? I know she sits at certain points on the stage etc

I sat in the 500s on Friday with a LINCTIX ticket and I probably had one of the best seats in the house, IMO, almost as good as the celebrity I saw sitting in center orchestra, but an equivalent row.  It is a thrust stage, and most of the action takes place on the apron of the stage, so any obstruction is minimal.

I sat in Orchestra Row M Seat 503 (and the rest of my family did up to 506) and it was a fantastic view. No obstruction, the actors came to my side of the stage often and they faced each side of the audience equivalently. Enjoy!

I sat orch J 511 and thought it was great. No obstruction problems for me. I actually thought it was perfect, especially at that price.

Wonderful view from the 500s. No one uses the Vivian Beaumont space better than Bart Sher and the 500s give you the full appreciation for his elegant and expansive staging.
