Probably write an editorial or open letter citing the box office numbers as the reason why he should have gotten nominations. He's a bit clueless. I do agree the snub wasn't fully deserved, though - that production was good enough to get nominated for something, in my opinion.

He'll get the show a performance on the telecast. He did it last year when there was no show. He'll certainly get his way this year.

At the end of the day, I do believe this show was a labor of love. I think Harvey really wanted the best possible show and felt passionate about it, because why would he spend so much money on it, and re-do the show with Diane Paulus. Im glad they are having million dollar weeks, and that audiences are enjoying it. They deserved some nominations for sure.

Harvey is an egomaniac. He would have done anything to get some noms (although apparently not enough). And he has many frenemies who are no doubt enjoying his snub.
I also think the committee wanted to let him know that Bway ain't Hollywood. You can't buy nominations.
In the end, it doesn't matter. FN will run for awhile and have successful tours. Other than an bruised ego, he doesn't have a thing to worry about.

He will buy the TONY awards and distribute them to his FINDING NEVERLAND gang. Then he will buy every Broadway Theatre and turn them into FINDING NEVERLAND themed Diners and Gift Shops.
But seriously folks, I think his idea that putting more and more money into a show will make it good has smacked him in the butt and everyone on FINDING NEVERLAND should be good and pissed at him. He has put a blotch on a few careers here, particularly Paulson, Michaels, Morrison, Grammer and that song writing Dude I've never heard of. The show may run a while but they know they are connected to a stinker and will have to work extra hard to bounce back.

As one of the better reviewed musicals Honeymoon deserved a few and it got shut out. This is Broadway gang . **** happens.

Gary Barlow wrote the music.
He's super famous in the UK, and I like his music.
But I still have a chip on my shoulder about the firing of Frankel and Korie.
Also, be came in blustering about how once people see the show it would win every award.
He did everything wrong when trying to promote a show on Broadway.

Harvey is probably losing his ****. And I had a feeling that LMK would be nominated.

He's got the money to market. It'll be interesting to see which tactic he goes with when other shows amp up their publicity with "TONY NOMINATED!"

Well better luck next time to him. FN is doing quite well in sales so at least he's got that.
He'll probably do better in the next play/musical he produces. You can bet he'll do something very awards bait.

The only bad thing is that he did pump a lot of money into the musical, and unfortunately by not giving him any recognition (not saying it was deserved or should be like this), my guess is he will slip away from Broadway. Commercial theatre is needed just as much as mor "artistic" pieces.

Tony noms or bad reviews, will not matter. FN is selling big time, audiences seem to love it, and yes, this could be the "critic-proof" and "award-proof" hit of the season.

I doubt this will keep him away; he's already been a producer on numerous successful shows. This was just his first time as lead producer.
Hopefully he'll learn that Broadway isn't Hollywood.

I have a feeling he'll be back.
He has something to prove (at least to Daryl Roth), and he doesn't give up.
He'll lick his wounds, determine where he went wrong, and start planning his next project with these lessons in mind.

What does it matter what strategy he used? He is still making over a million a week on his show. I think that speaks for itself. I also think he got a bad wrap with the Jordan thing, and Michael Riedel talking about him in his articles. I don't really think Harvey did anything. I feel like people tried to bring him down mostly because he is a big hollywood producer which is f*cked up

Calling Weinstein's production a labor of love is inaccurate. Now Fun Home and especially The Visit can be called labors of love. Hard commercial sells where artistic merit was put first.

She won 2 years ago for Pippin. Darko Tresnjak won last year for Gentleman's Guide.

Last year's winner was Darko Tresjnak (sp). Paulus won two years ago.
