So for my upcoming Broadway trip to New York, as of right now, I'm planning on seeing the following:
Hamilton (already have tickets, thank god!)
Hedwig and the Angry Inch with Darren Criss
Something Rotten
Finding Neverland
Overall, I'm pretty confident with my show choices, but after reading the seriously underwhelming reviews for Neverland, along with some criticism on these boards, I'm wondering -- should I swap Neverland out for something else? The other shows I'm looking at are Fun Home, The King and I, and An American in Paris.
Surprisingly, I enjoyed Neverland. It's has flaws, but I don't regret seeing it. However, I think An American In Paris is far superior. Just my 2 cents worth.

If we're not having fun, then why are we doing it?
These are DISCUSSION boards, not mutual admiration boards. Discussion only occurs when we are willing to hear what others are thinking, regardless of whether it is alignment to our own thoughts.
Any of those mentioned above. You won't be disappointed.
I saw Neverland, American in Paris, On the Town, Fun Home, Something Rotten, The Visit and On the Twentieth Century.
My faves were On the Twentieth Century and On the Town. But American in Paris was beautiful, Fun Home was fantastic and highly thought-provoking, The Visit was absolutely mesmerizing and Something Rotten was just fun. And I really liked Neverland too (as did the audience from the reception it got).
Your show choices look great. I have seen all the shows you are planning on seeing and those you are still thinking about. The one I would most strongly consider adding to replace Finding Neverland would be Fun Home.
If you already have tickets for Finding Neverland don't let the reviews change your mind. It is a great show, I liked it more than I expected, but Fun Home is a very special show.
Would this be your first time seeing Hedwig, or have you already seen it with a different actor? If you have already seen it I would delete Hedwig and add Fun Home and you could still see Finding Neverland.
I have a feeling there is going to be a great Hedwig lined up after Darren, can you wait to see Hedwig, or do you think you won't make it back in the forseeable future?
I loved Finding Neverland! This it was already on your list you probably have in interest in the subject matter, and this case I really think you'll enjoy it. It's not a show that aims to be critically acclaimed. It's a show that aims to please the audience and it does. (a bit like Wicked that way, which also got mixed reviews back in the day)
Also, see On The 20th Century! Since Something Rotten is on your list I guess you like funny, so it's a no-brainer. It's the full-package. A madcap comedy with wonderful music, gorgeous to look at and actors who give it their all.
The King And I was another show I enjoyed a lot, but depending on how often you come to NY, that one will likely be around for a while, OTTC is a limited run.
Personally didn't feel like Fun Home was a must-see. I liked it, but not my favorite this season...
If you have the chance, you should absolutely see American in Paris.
I don't know if you're seeing Hedwig because Darren's in it or maybe it's a favorite show of yours, but if you can spare the spot, I highly suggest American in Paris. I haven't seen Finding Neverland, but very much want to, so I'd say keep that on the schedule as planned.
