Hi Everyone!

I'm going to NYC in June and plan to see some Broadway shows. I was thinking of seeing Fun Home, Curious Incident, Something Rotten, and Hand to God. I'm a student and was planning on trying to get tickets on the cheaper end instead of getting better seats when I go with family.

I was looking at some tickets for Fun Home in section 100 Row J. Does anyone know how good the view is from there?

As far as Curious Incident, Something Rotten, and Hand to God, when looking for tickets, are there any sections of each of those theatres that I should avoid?

Thanks for the help!

Hand to God is a small theatre and has no bad seats

For SR I'd avoid the balcony and partial view orchestra. Rear mezz is worlds better then balcony.

All the seats at FH should be excellent.

If we're not having fun, then why are we doing it? These are DISCUSSION boards, not mutual admiration boards. Discussion only occurs when we are willing to hear what others are thinking, regardless of whether it is alignment to our own thoughts.

if you download the Todaytix app, they have a lot of cheap tickets, and if you use code RSDSI you get $20 off!

For Fun Home I have seen it from G102 and C211. Both were fine and as many have indicated the show is staged so that it plsy intentionally to each section of the theatre as often as possible.

That said, I would favor being in the 200 sections more if you can. It's the difference between sitting on the side of a tennis match or behind one of the players. Both afford you a good view, but the side position allows you to take it all in more easily. I found the same thing true here.

I sat in J109 for Fun Home and thought the seat was excellent. You only miss a few things, which is expected for a show in the round, but there are a lot of gorgeous stage pictures from that view.

I am a firm believer in serendipity- all the random pieces coming together in one wonderful moment, when suddenly you see what their purpose was all along.

Great! I was looking at the Tix4Students seats and they are in the J100's. What would you recommend between evens and odds and between high or low numbers (J133/4 vs. J115/6)?

For Curious, the last two rows of the mezzanine are $27, and the view is fine. Try to get the center section if possible.
