Well I know that Beth Glover has taken a leave of absence. I wonder who Robyn Goodman has lined up?

^ Maybe Keke, Carly Rae, Sherri, or Nene? There was a lot of stunt/star casting lol.

Edit: Not all for Madame lol. I was writing this before the above comment was posted. Updated On: 3/7/15 at 10:27 PM

I saw the show last month! Beth is a fabulous Madame! The entire cast is one of the strongest on the road right now! Such a lovely evening at the Theatre.

that article says that when its in LA it will begin performances on the 17th but open on the 18th. Isn't it already an open tour??

The first performance in front of a paying audience in each city is sort of like a preview to work out any kinks in the new theatre. It's also usually attended by invited press. It's no different than a regular performance it's just not the performance they designate as the "official" opening.

Saw this tonight. What a great show. Hoping to go again before it leaves on Sunday.

Saw this last night at the Ahmanson in LA! What a wonderful production. I really enjoyed it so much I might have to go back and see it again.

The stage and costume design were really beautiful and just a feast for the eyes. The production had a really magical quality throughout.

The cast was really great. Paige Faure was lovely as Cinderella and Andy Huntington Jones was really likable as Prince Topher and has a beautiful voice. Kecia Lewis really sings her heart out in There's Music in You. Her soaring soprano was gorgeous to listen to. I actually found Fran Drescher to be more distracting than anything. She wasn't bad by any means and actually had her moments, but even as she was speaking I wondered if her squeaky voice would just give out.

Overall, I really recommend this to everyone. I'm glad I caught it since I missed it when I was in NYC. Having seen this here however, I do wish I had seen it with the original cast especially Victoria Clarke and Laura Osnes. But this cast is top notch. Paige Faure seemed genuinely taken aback by her standing ovation. It was like a real life princess moment when she took her bow in her stunning wedding gown!

I saw this last Tuesday night. I saw the show on Broadway and found it to be a charming and enchanting evening. The tour is just as charming and enchanting as what I saw on Broadway. The book is still chock full of those terrible jokes and one liners, but it's still a fun show.

I know what you mean about the book. it definitely took some getting use to. I didn't realize how modern it actually was.

I saw the tour tonight. It was one of the best theatre nights I've had in a while. The audience was so great. It felt like we were in a soap opera. With the "oooohs & aaahs" haha The cast was outstanding. Fran Dresher was funny & mean.. she did a great job. ALL the leads gave great performances. Ella, Topher, Fair Godmother, Me Michele, and the two stepsisters. That score is great, even better live. Happy this was my first Rogers & Hammerstein musical live.. next will be The Sound of Music in September. Can't wait. Don't miss this tour. They were outstanding!

According to the website, Audrey Cardwell is now Cinderella and Paige Faure is no longer listed. Anyone know if this is just temporary or permanent?

Paige is taking a spring/summer hiatus. I wouldn't blame her as she has a family and all. It's very gracious of the producers to let her go and refresh before heading back into the show for the fall.

What a bummer! I'm seeing it this week. Oh well. I'm more interested in the actual production rather than who is in it.

I saw Audrey go on for Paige in Los Angeles, and she was easily the highlight of the show! A true title threat in the classic Broadway sense.

A couple questions:

1) Does anyone know exactly when Paige is coming back? I saw the show in Cincinnati and absolutely loved her. It's coming to my home town in mid September and I would love to see her again.

2) Now that Living on Love is closed, is there any chance Blake Hammond could re-join the tour? I thought he was wonderful as well.
