How often does KC comes out after performances? I know that she doesn't do photos (For now? I heard it's because the cold.) Also, does she comes out after matinees? We're aiming for a matinee.

She pretty much always does after evening performances. I don't know about matinees yet. Anyone?
Probably not during previews though, I assume they still rehearse and tweak things between shows. But I feel like she did come out on 2-shows days during Promises? Not sure...
No photos, pretty much ever. The crowds that turn up at her stagedoor are huge, it would take forever to take photos with everyone so they just don't do it at all.

Hedwig and the Angry Inch and Cabaret. In Hedwig, the audience is addressed directly, one audience member gets physical attention from Hedwig, and another person is selected for an important task. In Cabaret, Alan Cumming selects two people from the audience to dance with him on stage at the rise of Act II.

In general, people don't have much luck during previews. The cast and crew are still working on the show during that period and often the director keeps them after each performance to give them notes. If they do come out to sign, it's usually an hour wait in the very least. But, I did hear people who had luck with Kristen Chenoweth over the past week. Not sure how long they waited, or if any other cast members came out. Also, matinees can be a hit and miss. In my experience, performers are least likely to come out after Wednesday and Saturday matinees because those are two show days. I find Sunday matinees to be the best because it's the early evening, which lately has promised the best weather conditions, and the performers are usually in better spirits because their day is finished early and they have their day off to look forward to.

"Mostly, I loved the size of these people's emotions. Nobody has emotions this size anymore. Outsized emotions. Operatic emotions. Kushemski and Vanda are like Tristan and Isolde, they're Paolo and Francesca. Nobody's in total thrall like this anymore. Nobody's overcome by passion like this, or goes through this kind of rage." I've seen plenty of pics with Peter Gallagher, so he SDs as well. Kristin did all evenings expect one where she apologized that she didn't because they had notes after the show (I think after a Sunday matinee, but that's because they are in previews)
Kristin is usually a long wait, no matter if previews or not, 45 minutes is not unusual (no idea if it's even longer atm).

I would assume he does. I met him on the street last year during Broadway Flea Market and he was extremely nice. We spoke a few minutes about Rocky and he let me take his picture. Really nice guy.

Anyone know if Kristin comes out after Saturday matinees? It's the only time I could fit in the show, so I'm crossing my fingers.

I met him after Rocky also and he was EXTREMELY nice and gracious. He talked to everyone and signed and took pictures and was really humble. A good guy!

I'm seeing the show tonight, hoping to catch Kristin after the show. Is the door on 43rd? next to On the Town, I assume (from passing by there earlier). Anyone who could let me know, thank you!

Anyone know if Kristin comes out after Sunday matinees? I'm trying to plan a short trip to New York and a Sunday might be the only day I can go. (Of course I'd still go if she doesn't stage door then, but it would certainly be an added bonus if I got to speak to her after the show!)

My memory was crossing over to the right side of the house but you could always just ask an usher. The barricades are up but it's in kind of an awkward place.

As for the matinee, I don't know but good luck. I don't know if she'll talk much though because she seems to be on vocal rest when not making appearances.

I went to the stage door last night after the show. (Grade A show btw.) Within fifteen minutes, two of the porters and Peter Gallagher all came out and all were so sweet, especially Gallagher (to whom I mentioned my mother was a huge fan but couldn't come to the show, and he insisted on taking a selfie with me to share with her).

Cheno had a meeting with Alan Cumming and some Tony producers last so she came out around 11:50 (the show ended at 10:35 - I can only anticipate that these meetings will be more frequent as Tony time nears). But she signed everything related to the show and did not pose for pictures. But even on vocal rest, she was such a sweetheart to the 10-15 of us who waited.

The stage doir is on 43rd street. When the show ends go out the exit doors on that side.

Thanks teresa, I figured that's where it must be! I'm a little sad Krischen isn't doing photos, that would have made my whole trip out here spectacular. Still, I'm thrilled.

Kristin DOES stagedoor after Sunday matinees as they are leaving for the day, as opposed to Wednesday and Saturday matinees where they stay for the evening show. She's doesn't come out between 2 shows.

And yes, the SD is on 43 street, best to take that exit (on the right of the auditorium, opposite of where you come in)

Michael McGrath came out occasionally during Nice Work but not sure about this show.  Does anyone know if coming out at the end of a performance is contractual or just a courtesy to fans?  It seems that many above title stars do it and many lesser known don't.  I'm guessing that the bigger names do it to keep a favorable image and the others don't have to be concerned with that?  I love that many do but I know it can't be something they love after giving a performance, especially on 2 a days.

I have no idea, but Andy Karl never comes out, and neither to Michael McGrath and Mark Linn-Baker. So if at all, than it's only Kristin and Peter. Kristin would do it either way (she does after concerts and stuff, and she's said that she enjoys it for the most part), no idea about Peter. He seems to enjoy himself though, taking pictures ect.

Yes, Andy NEVER comes out. He has a cot in the basement and his wife has conjugal visits once a week and she brings him Snickerdoodles. It makes him happy.

I saw the show tonight and it was absolutely spectacular, and we went to the stage door after and Kristin was the first out (and i think the only, we left about 5 minutes after she left) and she was so lovely. She didn't speak (because of her vocal rest), but I reminded her of the two or three times she's tweeted me and her face lit up and she mouthed that she remembered me and then she high-fived me and it was the greatest thing of my life. My boyfriend's phone was put away after she signed my playbill, so no pic of the event, but still...it was so awesome. I love her.
