Has anyone received a discount code for "The King & I." I've been looking online via Broadwaybox.com, NYtix.com, Theatremania.com, etc and haven't seen anything come up yet.
I just noticed. VintageSnarker mentioned LincTix. I recently signed up for it (it's free) and for people 35 and under. I was able to get a great seat for when I come in April for around $32. Needless to say I'm very happy because I scored a rather good Orchestra seat.
Thank you for the info on LincTix. I'm not eligible for the program. Very good news that you got such a great seat for your April NYC trip. I'll be in NYC on May 1st and have 13 shows lined up. :)
I just found out about LincTix myself. Sadly I won't be eligible much longer for the program either, but I'm glad to be able to use it while I can. I actually heard about it on one of the message threads hear. I'm impressed that you already have 13 shows lined up for May. I managed to see six in January and have only purchased for two shows this April (The King & I and An American In Paris). I'm holding out hope I'll find a discount for Beautiful.
MAN I totally forgot about LincTix!! Planning my trip around Patti LuPone being on stage in June so I will definitely have to get The King & I tickets for then! This just made my entire day.
I actually got the same seat as ljay for a show a few months out, which leads me to believe there's a fairly limited number of seats allocated for Linctix. I echo his sentiments; for $32, jump on it.
Thanks everyone. I just got seats J507 and J508 thanks for Linctix. I'm a little confused. When I was selecting the seats, it said that these were aisle seats but according to the seating chart it looks to be toward the middle of the row.

LincTix is weird about that. When I got my tickets for The Oldest Boy at the Newhouse, it said I was sitting in the first row, when I was actually in Row F. (Though I was sitting above one of the vomitoria, so I guess I was kind of in the first row. The other seat I bought, however, was clearly not in a first row of any kind.)
When I see the phrase "the ____ estate", I imagine a vast mansion in the country full of monocled men and high-collared women receiving letters about productions across the country and doing spit-takes at whatever they contain.

I just want to make sure I'm doing this right, so don't get angry with me.
I wanted to get tickets, so I signed up for LincTix but I didn't realize that you can only get one ticket per membership. I can get two if I have the other person signed up and just get the information, correct? :)
Yes, you should be able to. You'll just need his/her membership number, and you'll enter it on the first page of the Telecharge ticket-buying interface that Linctix runs through.
@n2nbaby - I had to create 2 separate memberships (One for myself, one for my wife) in order to get 2 tickets. After you log in with your membership, there will be an area that you can fill in membership numbers of other people you want to buy tickets for.
Thanks guys! :) I picked up two tickets for late April in the first row, off to the side. Has anyone sat first row in this theater before? I've never been, so I was just curious if they will be decent seats.

Did they actually put you in row A? Linctix is glitchy and tells people their tickets are in the first row and/or on the aisle when they actually aren't.
