Was surprised not to find this already posted. The President and Mrs. Clinton, and gads of secret service, were in attendance mid-orchestra. They were both incredibly gracious and friendly taking pix and waving pre-show and at intermission. I suppose it added a few minutes to the evening, as they didn't come into the house until just before curtain.

I suppose what I was most surprised with was the palpable energy that surged though the entire theater upon their arrival. They were greeted with ooohs and aahs, applause and cheering. It was really a delight.

If we're not having fun, then why are we doing it? These are DISCUSSION boards, not mutual admiration boards. Discussion only occurs when we are willing to hear what others are thinking, regardless of whether it is alignment to our own thoughts.

Hillary and Chelsea were at YOU CAN'T TAKE IT WITH YOU last Thursday. That was a bit of a thrill (though I would have been jumping up and down if I had a chance to see Bill!).

Esper & co. looked more than a little starstruck in the post-show photos.
