I am interested in buying the text, but I can't find a single opinion on this board about the show. It premiered off-Broadway in 1970 at the Playhouse Theatre, then had off-Broadway revivals in 1985 at the McGinn-Gazale theatre and in 2011 at the Clurman Theatre. I am interested in hearing thoughts from anybody who saw any of those productions or any other production of the play to decide if I should get it. Thanks so much.

I saw the two revivals, both of them excellent. There was also a tv production with Kevin Bacon that was also very good.

It's a worthwhile play, one of Wilson's better ones.

I played the Christopher Walken role in college. It remains one of my fondest memories because we did a private "Walken run" at one of the dress rehearsals in which I (and honestly, the whole cast by mid-Act 1) performed the show as Christopher Walken. Ridiculousness, but fun.

It's a pretty good text, too.

Thanks so much to you both. I'll check it out.
