Hi all! I'm looking for audition pieces for next audition season, and I was wondering if you could suggest an up-tempo, golden age soprano solo that isn't completely overdone. Thanks!

Of course there is the standard I Could Have Danced All Night from My Fair Lady. I would also recommend Look for a Sky of Blue from Little Mary Sunshine and I Don't Want to Know from Dear World, which can easily be changed into a soprano song.

If you're young "I'll Show Him" from Plain & Fancy

If you're older "I Sleep Easier Now" from Out Of This World

If anyone ever tells you that you put too much Parmesan cheese on your pasta, stop talking to them. You don't need that kind of negativity in your life.
