A new production of JACQUES BREL IS ALIVE AND WELL AND LIVING IN PARIS just opened at the Charing Cross Theatre, directed by Andrew Keates (Dessa Rose, Rooms, Passing By, As Is, A Winter's Tale, The Hired Man). It has a pretty awesome cast - Gina Beck, David Burt, Daniel Boys, Eve Polycarpou.
I've booked to see it on November 22 and am already excited about it. Anyone else going?

Sadly it's closing before I get there, but wish I could go just to hear Svejcar's arrangements in person again. The 2006 NYC production was absolutely magical.
I saw this this week and it was so lovely. Eve is really the #1 reason to see this -- WOW. Her solo numbers were astounding. If you can go tomorrow, do!
Loved this show! Great songs - most of which I have to be honest I had never heard before, but loved every one of them.
And FOUR amazing performances.
