"Impossible is just a big word thrown around by small men who find it easier to live in the world they've been given than to explore the power they have to change it. Impossible is not a fact. It's an opinion. Impossible is not a declaration. It's a dare. Impossible is potential. Impossible is temporary. Impossible is nothing.”
~ Muhammad Ali
My personally signed original double sided one sheet hangs proudly above my bed. When I got it signed a number of years ago, Ms. Peterson said how NBC was still owner the film and wouldn't give her any of the rights to it, including poster reproductions. She really hates them and understandably so.
This has been one of my favorite movies ever since I saw it in th theater when I was 9 years old. And not that I ever need a reason to watch it, but today seems like a good day for it.
This was SUCH a necessary tonic in 1988. The anti-sex backlash of the '80s was in full effect and James Bond wasn't allowed to sleep around and it was just soooooo great to see Elvira bring her Mae West sensibility to the big screen. And Bob. Beautiful, unwaxed-chested Bob.
Her feud was with Jim Signorelli, the director. He worked for years doing SNL's parody commercials. They despised each other rumor has it. I believe other then the classic SNL commercials this movie was his only other claim to fame.
Those Blocked: SueStorm. N2N Nate. Good riddence to stupid! Rad-Z, shill begone!
JG2, I don't just WANT to reply with that answer, it's the only one I ever give. And I'm sure you can guess what I say whenever I hear someone say "Well, I NEVER!"
I ADORE the first film and actually like the second one- I want Elvira to make another! She's just plain Awesome and one of the coolest people to meet!
