Tix after Box Office Opens

I am looking to buy tickets to Side Show. There is not great availability for center Orchestra for the performance I am trying to attend. Is there a chance that there may be better tickets held back because the box office hasn't officially opened?

Usually they release more tickets to a performance closer to the date of the show. For example unsold premium and/or house seats may go on sale for regular price a few days before the show.
