20at20 kicked off Tuesday! Anyone participate yet? Any new favorite off-broadway shows this year?

I'm thinking about trying it with Avenue Q. It's a favorite if mine, I have not seen it in awhile, and why not! Only $20!

There's a new musical that's coming back to New York at the Snapple called Hereafter, saw a clip online and it looks great! It's doing 20at20! I need to check it out.

Saw WAYRA last night. It was a ton of fun, but I was disappointed that very little of it was new. Basically, everything is reordered, there's some new music and a new effect towards the end. Oh, and of course a lot of fans. Otherwise, its the same Fuerza Bruta. Check it out if you haven't seen Fuerza Bruta, of you'd like a fix of their insanity, but don't expect much new.

He didn't say anything about it being prerecorded, he said things were reordered.

I'm curious as to why most the the shows available don't even start previews until the last few days of 20at20. Seems like they could have held off a few weeks until more of these shows were running.

And I don't see HEREAFTER listed on the site.

ClydeBarrow, thank you catching LegallyBroadway's misread. I didn't say pre-recorded. I was only commenting that I had hoped that WAYRA would be a new show with mostly new scenes. It was fun, but pretty much the same as the previous incarnation.

Would it be hard to get tickets to Avenue Q for this? What time would I have to get there?

Also, what would the seats be like?

I'm not sure why it's not listed on the site but I know that HEREAFTER is doing it.

Seats for Q are whatever is available. I suggest getting in line an hour before curtain.

Anyone tried this with Piece of My Heart? Is that show any good? The cast is pretty interesting.

Piece of My Heart closes tomorrow so if you want to see it you better get to it.

Sadly, the biggest pull for that show is Teal Wicks and she is no longer in it.

My partner saw Avenue Q last night (Saturday) on 20at20. He was given a 7 row center seat. Anne, the line monitor seemed to think everyone who wanted a seat to whatever show they wanted, would get in.
