Apparently, many of Zach Graff's Kickstarter supporters for "Wish I Was Here" are still waiting for their promised perks..... and they're not happy about it. (from Showbiz411.com)

I'm sure they've been sent out, I've seen pictures of the stuff that people have received on both Instagram and Twitter.

....yeah, just not to everyone. According to the article, there is a great deal of animosity directed at Zach Braff.

It's hard to imagine that with more than 46,000 donors, a blog was able to find some of them online complaining about it and pretend that represents a majority.

We're not exactly talking the New York Times Investigative Unit here. It would be wise not to take at face value, everything you read in one of these Hollywood gossip blogs.

They deserve what they (didn't) get.
"It's now rather very common to hear people say 'I'm rather offended by that'. As if that gives them certain rights. It's actually nothing more than a whine. It has no meaning, no purpose. It has no reason to be respected as a phrase. 'I am offended by that'. Well, so f**king what?"--Stephen Fry

Roger Friedman is not your "run of the mill" gossip columnist.

He ran an entire column based on reading online comments, with no reference to even trying to get answers from the production company/Kickstarter on any of this. Seems like a run of the mill blog approach to me...

Maybe they're just mad they invested in such an insufferably self-indulgent film....

Four Simple Rules for Attending the Theater 1. This is a nice night out. Dress accordingly. Like, no sweatpants. 2. When you enter the theater, turn off your phone. All issues with phones will be avoided this way, & you won't be verbally accosted by the cast, crew, & other patrons. 3. I did not pay dollas to hear you talk or sing. I paid dollas to see & hear gorgeous men like Norm Lewis, Ramin Karimloo & Joshua Henry. 4. Unless you have medical issues, don't eat. The wrappers are loud, & your disgusting munching is even louder. You aren't at the movies or a barn dance, baby.

I have to agree w/Sutton. I understand exactly why he had to run a Kickstarter campaign to get this made. Boring, self-indulgent nonsense. People were laughing, myself included, during what were meant to be deeply serious moments. Someone actually applauded when Patinkin died---but that's for another thread!

Non facts about his at all. But if kick starters are going to work and continue to work the 'perks' need to come through. It's not like people need to give Braff money. Don't ruin it for others
