So for example The non equity tour of Addams Family is closing in June. Is it possible to take there set once they are done since it will no longer be in use? I know that like with the national tour of the Wedding Singer they just threw everything in the dumpster after the show and people took the set. Thank you so much!

Contact the producers to see what will be done with the sets. They sometimes auction or rent them off.

Fun story - a popular youth theatre in my hometown was doing Titanic. They contacted the producers of the national tour (this was after the tour was over) and asked about renting the set. The producers told the youth theatre that the set was three days away from being moving to a dump, but the you theatre could buy the set for one dollar! They did, of course, and the youth theatre rented the set out for a while after that.
