Graciela Daniele will choreograph.

This summer's season will also feature Renée Fleming in a new farce about an opera diva and her maestro husband. Kathleen Marshall will direct.

So neither Frank Galati nor Carl Andress are continuing with the project, I wonder?

Does anyone know if THE VISIT will be heading to Broadway? Hoping for a transfer.

Looks like I’ll be making my first-ever trip to WTF.

WTF indeed. Meh to Doyle (though I think he's more than decent often--at least when not using his gimmick) but Graciela is stylistically PERFECT for this. Wish I could go.

I missed this in every other incarnation. I hope I get a chance to see Chita in this role. I've heard nothing but raves from the other times she's done it.

She touched on this during her concert last Saturday night. But I had no idea John Doyle is directing. I've never really been a big fan of Graciela's choreography. I have always found it very workmanlike. But probably fitting for Chita at her age. Looking forward to this.

Her strength is in ethnic dance (granted usually Spanish ie Bernarda Alba, but...)

To my knowledge, is it correct to say Doyle's been using less of the actor-instrument motif (which I'm personally pretty indifferent about).

Are they always that short of a season?

Well I didn't want to get into it, but he's a Satanist. Every full moon he sacrifices 4 puppies to the Dark Lord and smears their blood on his paino. This should help you understand the score for Wicked a little bit more. Tazber's: Reply to Is Stephen Schwartz a Practicing Christian

The WTF uses the facilities at Williams College during the school's summer break and their season is dictated by the availability of facilities. The season may be short, but it is usually quite excellent. There are three other equity companies in the Berkshires, and several more in bordering states. NY actors and directors are all over our towns in the summer.
