What to see?

So I'm coming to NY in March for 36 hours and am trying to figure out what to see on broadway. I already have tickets to If/then in the evening but am trying to figure out what to see at the matinee. Do I see Kinky Boots? Bridges of Madison County? A play? Since I won't be back to NY for a while I want to make sure I make the right pick. Any recommendations?

Rocky, Cabaret, Les Miz, Aladdin? Hard to know your best pick without more criteria.

The thing I'm most excited to see in March is the off-Broadway Heathers musical, since I adore that movie.

Now t/d/b/a haterobics on here.

I want to see something that I won't be able to see here in Vancouver (we don't get many up to date tours). March 12th is when I'll be there. So many options, I guess I can't really go wrong, it's just overwhelming with so many great choices

Pippin, unless you know it's coming to Vancouver (Is that WA or Canada? Just curious!)

Pippin is probably the best show on broadway right now, and with The Tony Winning Patina Miller in the show you don't want to miss her, the show is spectacular, amazing sets, performances, circus, lots of FOSSE!!!

Vancouver Canada. The tour of WSS is here next week and I do get to see shows when they come to Seattle. Hmm...looks like it's a toss up between pippin and kinky boots

I'm going through something similar - I'll be there at the end of March for IF/THEN's opening, and my girlfriend's chosen BRIDGES as her show (we're each picking one that the other can't veto) - but I don't know what to choose for mine! HEATHERS? VIOLET? I'm mostly trying to decide between those two. Hm hm.

Had some help back in January with deciding what to see. Didn't think I'd get back to NYC till the spring but have decided to treat myself to a little 3 day trip at the end of Nov. I will be there Nov 22-24 and basically have all day Sat, Sun, and leave early Monday. I'd like to try and see 2 musicals and 2 plays but need some help making final decisions.

So far I've booked to see Beautiful for the Sunday afternoon show (not the cheapest tickets but I really want to see Jessie Mueller). I'm thinking that I might see Les Mis on Sat night. Although I've seen it many times to see this revival cast on Broadway will be pretty special.

Now, the plays. I've never seen a broadway play and don't really know what to check out. This is Our Youth is the only one playing on Sunday night so I might go and see that and with discounts it will only be about $80. I'm having a tough time decided on the other....You Can't Take it With You? It's Only a Play? The Real Thing?

Any recommendations?

All speculative at this point, since none of them has even started previews, but of that list, I only have a ticket for It's Only A Play...

I know...that's the problem I'm facing, but tickets seem to be selling so I don't want to miss the boat by being indecisive....decisions decisions....

Curious Incident of the Dog in the Nighttime will have opened by then. If it's half as good as the London production, it will be great.

I've heard nothing but raves for Curious Incident.

It doesn't have any BIG NAME STARS like the others on your list if that matters.

....but the world goes 'round
