If you're a fan of the OBC "Follies" and you don't already own the remastered version - GET ONE! it is absolutely breathtaking in clarity and as liner notes put it "depth, vocal and orchestra blends". I have heard the vinyl many times and the CD of course. However this was a whole new experience. I am just bowled over. It supposedly has been limited to 1000 copies for some reason so hopefully any who wants one can still get one. ( No - I am not a salesman pushing my product - just a huge fan of the show I saw in Boston on its way to Broadway.)

I believe poster "bk" supervised the remastering. He may have knowledge of where copies may still be found.

For the record, everything jemjeb2 says is true.

I'll third that. It is amazingly superior to the original mix.

Kritzerland has issued a second edition of 1000 copies and it's in stock and ready for ordering on Bruce's site. That said, I have never heard such a vast improvement in sound quality. The remastering job is amazing and though I was overly familiar with the cast recording I was hearing new things I had never heard before. It's worth every penny. Get it while you can.

It's amazingly well done. There was an extensive thread about it when BK first released it. Try doing a search.

It's truly delicious. If only they had recorded more of the score at the time.....

bk's Promises, Promises and Sugar remasters are great, with Promises being particularly spectacular. I remember the first time I heard the Promises remaster and just being completely blown away.

With Irma you gotta do something!
