Scandalous
Big Fish
Senator Joe
Little Prince and The Aviator

A piece of trivia re the original Alvin name. Alvin was an acronymic name for the 2 producers who built it - Alex Aarons & Vinton Freedley

Can anyone think of any others?

Add Shogun and Goodbye Girl to the Marquis list

J/H can also be used for the Plymouth even though it ran for years it never made back its investment.

These range all over the spectrum in quality, but don't forget:
Ragtime (revival)
Into the Light
Do Black Patent Shoes Really Reflect Up?
Little Johnny Jones
Seven Brides for Seven Brothers
Merrily We Roll Along
Tricks
The Education of H*Y*M*A*N K*A*P*L*A*N
Sherry!
The Yearling
Flora, the Red Menace
Greenwillow
First Impressions
House of Flowers
Two's Company
A Tree Grows in Brooklyn
Billion Dollar Baby
The Firebrand of Florence

etc...

Begin at the beginning and go on till you come to the end: then stop.

Less common are flop plays at the Alvin/Neil Simon, such as Giants, Sons of Giants and Freedom of the City.

All the shows at the Foxwoods have flopped. The Gershwin was a MAJOR flop house before it went green.

Thoroughly Modern Millie, in spite of it's Best Musical Tony and relatively long run closed without recouping, it's therefore a flop.

"Grease," the fourth revival of the season, is the worst show in the history of theater and represents an unparalleled assault on Western civilization and its values. - Michael Reidel

The Minskoff was a flophouse before The Lion King? Fiddler on the Roof, Sunset Boulevard, Saturday Night Fever and Joseph were all flops.
