Having not yet ventured to the Rodgers, but *having seen the director's work previously, I'm anxious to hear what the critics make of this lstest Billy Shakes offering.

Posted: 9/19/13 at 3:14pmFYI, tickets for opening night are available if anyone feels like going. It appears there's lots of available tickets. It's even up at TKTS for 50% off.
A Chorus Line revival played its final Broadway performance on August 17, 2008. The tour played its final performance on August 21, 2011. A new non-equity tour started in October 2012 played its final performance on March 23, 2013. Another non-equity tour launched on January 20, 2018. The tour ended its US run in Kansas City and then toured throughout Japan August & September 2018.

But, as with many of Leveaux’s slick and often empty forays onto Broadway, the color-coding is only skin deep ... Like the lead actors, it’s pretty to look at, but seldom connects with anything deep."

Brantley wasn't as harsh as I was expecting. He enjoyed the first act quite a bit, and thought Bloom is giving a "first-rate Broadway debut."
