One of my favorite plays!! Benanti is a perfect fit for Cassie.
I wonder who the other three are playing. My picks would be White as Chris, Maxwell as Claire, and Martin as Cookie.
AHHH so excited.

A Chorus Line revival played its final Broadway performance on August 17, 2008. The tour played its final performance on August 21, 2011. A new non-equity tour started in October 2012 played its final performance on March 23, 2013. Another non-equity tour launched on January 20, 2018. The tour ended its US run in Kansas City and then toured throughout Japan August & September 2018.
Helen Mirren's play is coming this spring supposedly. No idea which theater it has. But, this could work in The Golden, The Booth, The Cort (if they can overcome that terrible location), The Longacre (if First Date is gone-don't know, not wishing it away, just saying it would work there). I wish Mamma Mia didn't have the Broadhurst locked up as it would have been neat to see it in the original theater. I wonder who has the Lyceum in the spring as that Joplin piece is a limited run I believe.
there was supposed to be a meeting this past weekend to determine if this is a go or a no go. I hope it got a thumbs up -- hopefully I'll be hearing from someone involved with this, but more likely, if it's good news, there will be a public announcement soon.
Anybody hear any more about this show. I have been waiting years to see it again. I literally fell off my seat, I laughed so hard. I have seen other farces like Noises Off, and always thought Rumors was funnier.
I know he wouldn't do it, but can you imagine Robin Williams in the cast?
This is off topic but it is related to funny. I caught Bringing Up Baby on Turner the other day. The whole movie is a scream, but the last 1/2 hour Hepburn is just incredible with her comic timing!

Nothing. Maybe I'll see my friend next weekend, but it's rare I see him this time of year.
Never saw the play and as a huge Neil Simon fan this sounds like an incredible production with this cast.
I know "Prisoners Of Second Avenue" that ran in the West End a few years ago had its eye on Broadway and now with "The Sunshine Boys" having just opened in LA with its eye on Broadway (Entertainment Weekly gave it a rave review as did The Hollywood Reporter) maybe this will help get this production produced?
Actually I meant to see it last year in Albany, but I couldn't get away. Maybe someone on this site has some friends/contacts up there that did. I saw it at the Paper Mill Playhouse in NJ around 1992. The NYT guy did not like it, but I most certainly did not agree with him!
