In "Sanka, Ya Dead Mon?", Ben was an artist who never got to the point of struggling. Giving up his passion for music, and leaving behind his friends and family, Ben followed his heart to Albany, New York, to eventually marry the woman of his dreams. In Albany, his routine rarely changes: he works Monday through Friday, nine to five, in a soul draining office, but it is worth it, because it allows him to gradually save money for his "perfect moment”: the day he proposes to his girlfriend. Then things awry. With the help of his friends, and the movie Cool Runnings, Ben learns how to balance passion for his craft with the desire for a family, stability, a feeling of self-worth.
